MAY/JUNE 22

Hi all!

here’s the booking form for the next two months:

https://form.jotform.com/fcknrx/MAYJUNE

please read everything in the form if you haven’t—every month i get a few people who obviously did not read anything i wrote and tried to get their proposal in as quickly as possible. please don’t do this lol, i don’t book first-come first-served so it’s worth it to take your time. Books will stay open until this time next month so no worries there.

Ive been recently enjoying merging styles more, finding the balance of the industrial and the organic. I think i’m hoping that the trajectory of my work can model the sequences of decay that i try to synthesize: more and more overgrown and fraught with moments of growth and death as time goes on. Choked with rust and unrecognizable as human-made. But of course the dissonance in trying to make something look natural while constructing every tiny element of it is really the point here if there is one. Basking in the uncanny valley now and forever lol

Anyway bring me your weirdest shit as always. Would love to maybe do some neutral color work if you’re down? White ink, browns and greens and ochres. If you wanna do a color test or just go for it, let me know that in your form. I’ve gotta get my shit together first so maybe save that for late may or june.

“Tattoos shouldnt be ‘sexy’ they should look like horrific medical anomalies”

Once again I’m asking you to enter my raffle with NHHF to raise money and resources for my unhoused neighbors in New Haven. here’s the link to that:

i added the option to receive a physical art object if you’re not able to get tattooed for any reason, so it’s still worth the small entry fee.

I also just wanna direct those of you who somehow don’t know him yet to my bestie Seven (@__abyssopelagic on ig)

He lives and works in New London, CT and makes beautiful, stirring, transportive works of tattoo. Our work explores many common themes like geology, paleontology, deep time, human perception, oceanic decay, etc. His practice subverts traditional “industry” tattoo procedures in just about every way you’d hope. 100% worth the trip from anywhere you’re probably reading this from.

ok thats all

take care, and peace!!

send healed pics!!
