i’ve promised myself i’m not taking coverups this month because, in all honesty, they’re not as fun right now. I’m extremely grateful to be asked to do them and i enjoy the challenge, please don’t feel like you’re wrong for wanting one but i simply need a break. If it’s small and you wanna extend way beyond it i’ll consider it, just make your proposal good and include photos please. if you sign up for LA, i will not be taking any coverups at all.

I also wanna reiterate some changes i made to my booking form this month that apply going forward:

I choose the tattoos i work on based on the creative potential of the proposals i receive rather than trying to fit every single person in. My goal is not, has never been, and never will be to do as many tattoos as possible or to make as much money as possible. It’s to make tattoos as a facet of a greater artistic practice.

That said, i can’t think of a single time i’ve received a proposal that was well thought out and descriptive that i DIDNT want to do. You’re all very cool and have good ideas, but there’s only so much time. If you don’t get offered a spot on a given month, apply for the next one! Thank you as always for your patience.

Last thing: elevator is fixed!!! I swear i nearly shed a tear getting back on that freakin thing for the first time in 3 months. i’m never climbing another stair in my damn ass life and neither are any of you.
