END OF WINTER '25

To update you all,
Writing personally up top so skip to the end if you don’t care

2024 was a big year, I did my first solo Europe tour (plus Montreal), spent 3 weeks on the road in New York, released music, showed sculptural work, fully got married, etc.
That was all in the yin portion.
The yang portion started in early August, when on the last day of 2 months of travel my car was hit on the street in Philadelphia and embroiled in a months-long insurance holding pattern which literally just ended YESTERDAY when I was able to go pick it up. In the interim, I moved back to New Haven from close by, into an apartment which, after only two days of half-living there, experienced a catastrophic bathroom leak that required a full reno that took 8 WEEKS 😀😀😀 During which we were living out of boxes with no working shower on site. Really awesome stuff.
On the 6th of December, when the work was finally complete and the contractor was wrapping up, I was indulging in a sigh of relief that the last 4 months were over and I could actually move in. During that sigh, I received a call letting me know that my studio landlord was shutting down the fifth floor and needed all of us to move to to the first floor by the end of the month, when he would be shutting off the power. Ok cool!! Nearly five years in that space and 3ish weeks to dismantle it, and of course the elevator broke down.
Needless to say it has been a very intense time of assessing the footprint I inhabit in this world, what it means to adjust and hone and decide what no longer serves me. Saturn return type shit i guess. Ive felt super absent from personal relationships, which i’m historically bad at maintaining in the digital space, so i’ll be thawing out with my tail between my legs this spring, asking my friends what I missed. Looking inward and sifting thru your heap of junk for 6 months straight is exhausting and embarrassing and not as productive feeling as you’d like tbh.
But anyway, now that I have gone through every item in my life and have a whole new build with zero reference point for routine or regularity, still half moved-in to both my apartment and my studio, I’m ready to take some bookings! 😀

Below are my dates for the next few months. After that I’ll be putting together some domestic travel for the spring.

If you have a booking form in right now, you’ll be hearing from me shortly, or you can hit me up to claim one of these dates. As usual, prioritizing multi-session projects and sleeves.

Thank you for reading, and as always for bearing with my terrible admin skills. This year I’m looking forward to pushing my tattooing in new directions, and expanding more of my non-tattoo practice. I’m excited to welcome you into a new studio space that integrates the two. Hope you’re all doing well, holding out thru the long dark.
