AFTERCARE
If you’re able*, replace the adhesive wrap after 24 hrs. and do the following:
Remove in a warm shower
Stretch it off parallel to your skin, as opposed to peeling it up and away
Lightly scrub any ink and plasma with your fingers and anti-bacterial soap
Pat dry with a clean paper towel
Replace with new wrap
After 2-4 days with the new wrap, repeat steps 1 thru 4
Once area is dry, keep it lightly moisturized with an unscented lotion or aftercare product until healed and smooth
*If you’re not able to replace it, leave on for 3-5 days then do steps 1 thru 4, then step 7.
IMPORTANT TIPS
/// If in direct sunlight, keep tattoo covered with clothing until it’s healed and no longer scaly.
/// UV is the enemy of tattoo ink. Be sure to wear an SPF if you’d like to keep them bright as long as possible. Generally a good idea for your skin anyway.
/// Avoid intense, sweaty activity until you’re healed up.
/// Avoid abrasive or restrictive clothing (underwire bra over an underbust piece, leather harness over back piece, etc.)
/// Don’t forget to eat and try and rest after a large piece or long session. For example, don’t go right to the club after (gross). Avoid alcohol and other vasodilators.
/// Blood and ink will pool under the wrap, this is normal. It will sometimes leak out. Please be aware that you’re not exposing others to your bodily fluids.
